Ingredients Of Chicken Lollipops

  • 8 chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tbsp garlic ginger paste
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • Chili powder to taste

Ingredients Of Sauce

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Chinese salt
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • Water as required

Method Of Chicken Lollipops

  • Cut the wings into two, chop the end bone, pull the flesh up with the skin and remove the thin bone and mould into a lollipop.
  • Now marinate the lollipops with soya sauce, chili garlic sauce and ginger garlic paste for half an hour.
  • Beat the eggs and add chili powder, salt and corn flour. Mix it well and make a smooth batter.
  • Heat oil to medium heat(the lollipops need to cook completely inside hence, oil should not be too hot or else outside will brown too quickly leaving the insides uncooked) Roll the lollipops in the batter and drop gently into the oil and fry to a golden brown-not dark brown.Drain on paper towel.

Method Of Quick Sauce

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and sauté garlic ginger paste and cumin seeds in it.Add soya sauce,green chilies ,coriander leaves and Chinese salt and little water in it. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Toss in the fried lollipops and serve immediately.
