Ingredients Of Chicken Satay

  • 1 kg boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 8 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp red chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

For Peanut Butter Sauce

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp soya sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, chopped

Method Of Chicken Satay

  • Flatten chicken into 1/2 inch thickness and cut into 1 inch strips.
  • In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Add chicken in it and marinate it for 3-4 hours.
  • Thread chicken strips into metal or soaked wooden skewer.
  • Grill over medium heat until chicken in golden brown and done.
  • Serve with peanut butter sauce

Method Of Peanut Butter Sauce

  • Combine and heat all ingredients of peanut butter sauce. Do not boil.
  • Heat till all flavors and ingredients combined well.
