Method Of Homemade Almond Flour
- Take hot boiling water and dip your almonds in it for one minute. You’ll see that once the almonds are soaked in hot water for a few seconds, the skin slips right off when you squeeze them between your fingers. It’s so easy to do and takes no time.
- Spread the skinless almonds in one layer, in a large cookie sheet, and let them dry in a cool, dark place like your oven or pantry.
- Now process it into the fine powder in a blender or in a food processor. The trick is to process your almonds as fine as you can without overdoing it. When you process the almonds too much, the heat causes the almonds to release some of the oils, and eventually, you end up making almond butter.
- Now sift flour so that you will get a fine powder and blend the chunks again.
