This is very healthy dish for kids especially in winter because in it chef zakir used a honey which is very good for our family health. Do give it a try and let me know how it was. My kids liked it very much with boiled rice.
Ingredients
- 300 gm boneless chicken (breast pieces cut into 3inch thin stripes)
- 2 cloves chopped garlic
- 1 egg
- 2 tbs corn flour
- 2tb.s flour
- 3 tbs tomato sauce
- ½ cup honey
- 3tb.s oyster sauce
- Salt according to taste
- 1ts black pepper
- 1ts white pepper
- 2tbs green leaves of spring onion
- 2tbs Worcester sauce
- Oil for frying
Method
- Marinate boneless chicken in egg, corn flour, flour, salt, half black and white pepper. Set it aside for half an hour.
- Heat the oil and deep fry the chicken on medium flame till it is golden in color.
- Take a pan and put 2tbs oil in it and fry the chopped garlic on low heat.
- Add honey in fried garlic. Also add tomato sauce, oyster, Worcester sauce, salt, black and white pepper.
- Now add 1/3 cup water in it.
- Take 2bs corn flour and make a paste of it and put that in gravy, cook it till it thickens.
- Now add chicken in it and the green leaves of spring onion.
- Serve it with boiled or egg fried rice.
