This recipe for peri peri chicken and peri peri rice is shared By Farah Jahanzeb. This Chicken and Rice is bursting with flavor and so easy to cook. Makes a great weeknight dinner with minimal effort.
Ingredients Of Peri Peri Chicken
- 500 gm. chicken breasts fillet
- 1/2 bottle peri peri sauce
- 4 garlic cloves
- Oil as required
Ingredients Of Peri Peri Rice
- 5 cup water
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 bottle peri peri sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2.5 cup rice
- 4 tsp. olive oil
- Mint for garnishing
Method For Peri Peri Chicken
- Marinate chicken breast fillets in peri peri sauce and garlic for some time.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and put chicken breasts in it. Add little water and cook till the chicken is tender and done.
Method Of Peri Peri Rice
- Wash the rice and soak it in water for half an hour.
- Take a pan and heat olive oil in it. Saute onion and garlic in a pan.
- Add peri peri sauce, tomatoes, and water in it. Cook all the ingredients till the water start boiling. Now add rice and cook them till the water dries.
- Now add green chilies and cover them with a lid and cook for 5 minutes on a very low flame.
- Serve the peri peri rice with peri peri chicken. Garnish the rice with chopped mint leaves.
