It is situated at Tauheed Commercial Street 5, DHA Karachi.The atmosphere at Purple Haze can be described as nothing short of classy. Dim purple lights, comfortable cushioned cubicles within a maze lit up in purple, a bar that rests on bronze sculptures. All this makes the place look very hip and happening.
Once i was seated within the chic maze, placing an order became quiet a confusing task due to the eclectic menu of the cafe. With the help from the waiters, i finally decided to order the “white house” which comprised of batter fried potatoes stuffed with spicy chicken, mushroom and Mexican spicy herbs, topped with rich cheesy sauce.
For the main course, i tried the “lobster thermidor” which is sautéed in mushrooms, cooked in seafood sauce, topped with melted cheese, sprinkled with paprika and served with fried rice. The meat is so tender that it just melts in your mouth.
At purple haze you can sway to the music, puff away on sheesha or simply enjoy the great ambience and immaculate service. So if you are on the look out for an exceptional dining experience, purple haze is definitely the place to hang out with your family and friends.
