You can make this 90 second keto bread in the microwave. This recipe is for those who want something easy and tasty in no time. You can have this bread with eggs, or you can also use it as a burger bun. My husband loved its taste. This recipe will make one serving. it has 6.9 g carbs and 283 calories. I served this bread with chicken and cream cheese mixture topped with some olives. You can also substitute almond flour with one tablespoon coconut flour.
Ingredients Of 90 Second Keto Bread
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 3 tbsp. almond flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl or ramekin. Add the almond flour, egg, and baking powder to the butter. Beat with a fork until completely mix.
- Microwave for about 90 seconds, until firm. Run a knife along the edge and flip over a plate to release. Slice in half, then toast in the toaster or in a skillet.
- This bread tastes better after toasting. So toast it in butter and make it crispy.
- I also use as my bun and make chicken fillet burgers with it by adding lettuce and tomato piece inside it. Cut it in half and use it as a mini burger bun.
Works well, I used a bigger dish so I could make a burger size bun. I set the microwave to 75% power as mine was to strong for the full 90 seconds.
Every microwave is different… Thanks for trying
I have missed bread the most now I don’t have to thank you so much!!
Neal I love your recipe and I mix it up daily.i sometimes swap out 1 tbsp almond flour for hemp powder or psyllium husks. Sometimes i just add a bit of grated cheese. Garlic powder and Italian herbs is another variation I do. Thanks so much for the basic recipe. Love it
Welcome… You can always add things of your choice
Can this be made in the oven? Don’t own a microwave
Yes… But it will take more time
So, does 1 tbs of coconut flour replace the 3 tbs of almond flour or can you only replace one of the 3 almond flour? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but not much of a cook. Thank you!
1tbsp can be replaced with 3 of coconut flour
Can you make a large bath of it? Like a whole loaf of bread?
Never tried it…. You can try
