Bohra Fried Fish (By Kokab Khwaja)

Try this bohra fried fish and enjoy it with any meal. It is very tasty and crispy.



  • 1kg fish fillet
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 2tbsp salt
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 egg
  • Bread crumbs as required
  • Oil to fry


  • Put egg, red chilies, salt, vinegar and lemon juice in a bowl and whisk them together.
  • Immerse the fish pieces in this mixture and keep them aside for 2 hours.
  • Coat the pieces with bread crumbs. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the fish pieces till they turn golden from both sides.
  • Delicious Bohra fish is ready to be served.
