This chicken pineapple gravy has very unique sweet and sour taste. You can serve chicken pineapple with fried rice or boiled rice. Its simple and easy and its difficult to beat its taste.
Ingredients Of Chicken Pineapple
- 1 kg boneless chicken cubes
Marinade
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2 tbsp. corn flour
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tbsp. soya sauce
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 egg
For Gravy
- 4 cups chicken stock
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tbsp. red chili sauce
- 2 tbsp. soya sauce
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1 tin pineapple chunks
- 2 onions cut in cubes
- 4-5 cloves garlic chopped
- Green onion for garnishing
- Oil for frying chicken cubes
- 4 tbsp. corn flour
Method Of Chicken Pineapple
- Marinate the chicken cubes in marinade ingredients for 30 minutes. Heat oil in a wok and deep fry these chicken cubes till they are light golden in color. Set it aside.
- Now for gravy heat 1 tbsp. oil and sauté garlic in it. Add chicken stock, salt, black pepper, chili sauce, soya sauce, sugar, vinegar and let it boil. Add pineapple chunks, juice and onions in it. Cook for another two minutes.
- Dissolve corn flour in water and pour it in gravy. Cook till gravy thickens. Now add fried chicken pieces and cook for two minutes.
- Garnish with green onion and serve hot with fried rice.
