Corn Fritters

Whenever it rains, one feels like having something deep fried and yummy. Now i present you some of the mouth watering fried treats.



  • 2 cups boiled corns
  • 2 tbsp onion finely chopped
  • 2 tsp ginger finely chopped
  • 1 green chili chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 egg well beaten
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • Oil for deep frying


  • Add all the ingredients in a bowl except oil  in a bowl and mix them well.
  • If its too thick then you can add a little water to get a consistency of thick paste.
  • Heat the oil in a wok and drop the corn mixture with the help of spoon. Deep fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  • Serve hot with chutney.
