Cucumber Raita Recipe


In summers what could be more refreshing then having cucumber raita with your lunch and dinner. It is also good for people watching their calories.

Cucumber raita


  • 2 cups yogurt
  • ½ tsp roasted ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp grated lemon rind
  • ¼ cup finely chopped cucumber
  • ¼ cup chopped tomato
  • 1tbs chopped onion
  • 1tbs chopped mint leaves salt to taste
  • 1 cup chopped crisp lettuce

Method Of Cucumber Raita

  • Place the yogurt, all the spices and lemon rind in a bowl and whisk to mix.
  • Stir in all the vegetables and salt.
  • Garnish with roasted cumin..
