Glass Noodles (by chef Zakir)

Its a Korean dish and this recipe is suitable for vegetarians, as chicken is not used in it but if you like chicken then you can add like i did.



  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 carrot chopped
  • 1 capsicum chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 green onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1/2 packet glass noodles
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2tbsp soya sauce
  • 1tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 jug water


  • Boil the noodles in water, when its done, drain and put some oil in it.
  • Heat the oil in pan and stir fry the garlic. Add onion, green onion, carrot and capsicum. Fry it for 2-3 minutes.
  • Now add noodles, sugar, salt, black and white pepper, soya sauce and oyster sauce. Mix it well.
  • At the end add tomatoes and cook it for 1-2 minutes.
  • Glass noodles are ready. Serve hot.
