Its famous Indian dish in which red kidney beans are cooked in gravy and it is served with boiled rice and salad. For perfect result soak kidney beans in water overnight. In morning boil it with some salt in pressure cooker. Try this famous Indian rajma recipe

Ingredients Of Rajma

  • 2 cups red kidney beans, boiled
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 3 tomatoes chopped
  • 3 green chilies chopped
  • 1 tbsp. ginger and garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp. red chilies powder
  • 1 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp. coriander powder
  • 1 tsp. all spices powder
  • 1/2 cup oil

Method Of Rajma

  • Heat oil in a pan and fry onions till they are light golden in color.
  • In blender put tomatoes and fried onion and make paste.
  • In same oil add ginger garlic paste and tomato and onion mixture. Add all spices and cook on high flame till it leaves oil.
  • Now add boiled kidney beans and green chilies. Add some water and cook on low flame till gravy start thickens.
  • Serve hot with boiled rice and sliced onions and lemon.
