We mostly make sheer khurma on eid but I love to eat it warm in cold weather. Its really vey easy to make shahi sheer khurma and you can make It in no time and satisfy your sweet tooth. Here is my favorite shahi sheer khurma recipe by Shireen Anwar.
Ingredients Of Shahi Sheer Khurma
- 1 liter milk
- 1/2 cup vermicelli
- 1tbsp ghee
- 3 small cardamoms
- 4 dry dates, sliced
- Few pistachio crushed
- Few almonds crushed
- 1/2 tsp. saffron
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. khoya
- Heat ghee and fry cardamoms and vermicelli on low heat till its light brown in color.
- Then add milk with sliced dates and cook for five minutes.
- when dates turn soft then add sugar, khoya, almonds, pistachios and saffron.
- Cook till milk start thickens. Garnish with nuts and serve hot or cold.
